Founder & CEO

Violet Abtahi is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a profound expertise in finance and blockchain technology. She has more than two decades of experience in the financial sector, blockchain and crypto ecosystems. Abtahi is a visionary leader on a mission to bridge the public and private blockchain worlds, shaping the next generation of financial infrastructures.

As the founder and CEO of Platonic, Abtahi spearheads the development of enterprise-grade L1 blockchain solutions, addressing real-world challenges in financial services. Through her leadership, Platonic is dedicated to building the next generation of financial markets infrastructure, in issuance and distribution of real world and native assets on chain, focusing on scalability, security, and innovation.

In addition to her role at Platonic, Abtahi is also the co-founder and president of Enya Labs, a leading blockchain developer, and the co-founder of Boba Network, a prominent public blockchain layer 2 solution. Her diverse portfolio of ventures reflects her commitment to driving innovation and advancing the capabilities of blockchain technology.

Abtahi is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a dedicated investor and advisor to thriving projects with a profound purpose to serve the future of finance and humanity. Jay Biancamano

Head of Tokenization & Digital Assets

Jay Biancamano is a seasoned leader in tokenization and digital assets. He now joins Platonic to serve as head of tokenization & digital assets. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Biancamano has been at the forefront of innovation in capital markets, specializing in crypto, digital assets, and blockchain technologies.

Before joining Platonic, he held key roles such as head of digital assets tokenization, digital fund administration, and commercialization at State Street. His leadership experience also includes positions at Fidessa, Liquidnet, and Pipeline (acquired by Factset). Biancamano’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Hoyvin, an AI-driven equity platform, showcasing his commitment to pioneering new technologies.

Biancamano is not only a thought leader but also an educator, having served as an adjunct professor of business at The College of New Jersey and contributing to the board of the Center of Innovation at Rutgers University. His academic journey includes a BA in Finance from Rutgers University, an MBA in MIS and International Business from Fordham University, and postgraduate studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout his career, Biancamano has been instrumental in designing and launching innovative products in capital markets, including algorithmic trading tools and global ATS platforms. He advocates for an industry-wide approach to tokenization, emphasizing the creation of secure networks and ecosystems to maximize blockchain’s benefits.

He is widely recognized as a presenter and authority on digital assets and tokenization, frequently quoted and published in industry-leading publications. His contributions continue to shape the future of finance, driving forward advancements in trading, issuance, and custody within the digital economy.

Will LaMartin

Head of Product

As head of product, Will LaMartin is responsible for the company’s product roadmap including the build out of Platonic’s interoperable blockchain offerings for tokenization and collateral. During his 20-plus year career, he has been engaged in all aspects of electronic trading and middle/back-office automation, with a particular focus on FX/equities and cross-asset projects.

Prior to joining Platonic, LaMartin was product head for enterprise DLT platform Symbiont’s fixed income, currency and commodities derivative platform (FICC) focused on streamlining capital markets infrastructure for prominent industry firms such as Vanguard and State Street.During his career, LaMartin also served as FX Business Manager for the Bloomberg FXGO terminal platform, which is regularly ranked as one of the top 3 institutional currency trading systems globally. In that position, he also held special responsibility for real money, corporate and block automated trading.

LaMartin also served as head business analyst for RBC Capital Markets Equity Technology and led product management teams at financial services firms Axoni, FXall (now Refinitiv), Citigroup, and Lava Trading. He has been a member of a number of industry trade organizations. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Physics at the University of Virginia.

Jason Yellick

Head of Infrastructure

As head of infrastructure, Jason Yellick brings the deep technical experience necessary to execute Platonic’s engineering roadmap and to support the mission critical deployments of its technology.  With over two decades of experience in software development and operations across the enterprise and blockchain sectors, Yellick understands how to deliver and maintain critical software infrastructure.

In his early career, Yellick began working with enterprise customers at IBM Tivoli building software to enable the management and monitoring of large institutional data centers and applications.  As IBM entered the nascent enterprise blockchain space in 2016, Yellick was recruited to become one of the first developers in IBM’s new blockchain initiative, later becoming a department technical lead and maintainer of the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Fabric blockchain project.  There, Yellick authored multiple patents and received multiple corporate awards for his contributions in the enterprise blockchain space.

After his experiences in the enterprise blockchain world, Yellick chose to move on and expand into the world of public blockchains by working with startups in the space.  In early 2023 Yellick joined Enya Labs supporting Boba Network, a prominent Ethereum based Layer 2 public blockchain network.  In addition to his work at Platonic, he continues to serve as Enya’s Head of Infrastructure.

Thomas Oser II

Head of Operations

Thomas Oser II is the Head of Operations at Platonic. In this role, he leverages his finance and blockchain expertise to support Platonic’s mission to bring enterprise blockchain solutions to the traditional financial sector.

Prior to joining Platonic, Oser served as director of business operations at Enya Labs, a leading blockchain developer. His career also includes leadership positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he executed M&A, debt, and equity transactions across various sectors including fintech, technology, mortgages, and space. His strong analytical skills and strategic acumen led him to helping drive the inorganic growth strategy at Boyd Corp, a leading innovator in sustainable engineered materials and thermal solutions.

Oser is a strategic systems-level thinker with expertise in the Design Thinking method and financial analysis. Passionate about making a global impact, Thomas is in constant pursuit of fostering positive change at the intersection of technology and finance. He earned a bachelor of science degree in product design from Stanford University.

Dianne O’Boyle

Head of Sales

Dianne O’Boyle is responsible for sales, business development and marketing for Platonic. She previously designed and implemented the securities focused engagement strategy in North America for Swift.

Prior to that, she was the sales executive for Symbiont, a blockchain company focusing on the capital markets. She has also held roles as the Americas Sales Head for CLS Bank, a foreign exchange settlement company, and held various sales and product roles at JPMorgan.

O’Boyle is on the board of ISITC and is the Executive Sponsor of the ISITC Digital Asset Forum  and the Sustainability and Diversity Forum. She is a member of a number of professional associations, including SIFMA, Women in Financial Markets, NYC FinTech Women, Boston Women in Finance and Canadian Women in Capital Markets. She earned a BBA in public accounting from Hofstra University and a professional certification in eSecurity from New York University.

Altin Hoxha is a visionary technology leader with a proven track record in building high-performance IT engineering teams that deliver cutting-edge solutions, driving strategic business transformation for financial institutions. As the CTO of Platonic, Altin spearheads the engineering organization, guiding the development of innovative solutions that align with the company’s mission to revolutionize the financial industry. He leverages scalable, secure, and groundbreaking on-chain and off-chain capabilities to bridge the gap between public and private blockchain ecosystems.

Before joining Platonic, Altin served as the Head of Digital Assets Platform Engineering at Citi Innovation Labs. In this role, he successfully organized and led a global engineering team to deliver the Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform (CIDAP) in under two years. This platform, which serves as the unified standard for all digital asset use cases across Citi’s institutional clients, was unveiled by Citi’s CEO, Jane Fraser, during the 2024 Digital Money Symposium. Altin had the distinct honor of presenting the platform’s capabilities to Citi’s clients at this prestigious event. Moreover, his efforts were pivotal in presenting CIDAP to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as the secure and consolidated platform for all of Citi’s digital asset use cases, a key factor in the OCC’s eventual approval of Citi Token Services for Cash product offerings.

Altin is a passionate advocate for the evolution of the financial industry towards greater efficiency, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. He envisions a future where smart contracts and blockchain technologies automate the issuance, distribution, and management of fully digitized financial products. Driven by this vision, Altin earned the Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation Certificate from MIT, complementing his Master of Science in IT Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, where he received the Outstanding Scholar Award. His academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.

Altin’s commitment to innovation and transformative technology solutions led him to assume the leadership role for the Technical Workstream of the Guardian Wholesale Network (GWN). Sponsored by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, GWN is a collaborative effort among leading financial institutions to establish a regulated, blockchain-powered network for wholesale digital asset issuance and utilization. Altin played a crucial role in defining the GWN ecosystem’s blueprint, securing consensus among participating institutions to adopt it as the target architecture for the coming years.

Prior to his impactful tenure at Citi, Altin led the technical team responsible for developing the infrastructure for Mastercard’s Multi-Token Network (MTN), a foundational experience that he later drew upon to deliver CIDAP at Citi. His career, spanning over two decades, includes leading the delivery of big data solutions and enterprise architecture at J.P. Morgan Chase, providing solution architecture for Payments Connectivity Services at Citi, defining technical solutions at Aetna Inc., managing software development at 1-800-Flowers, and beginning his IT journey in application architecture and software engineering at UBS.

Altin continues to draw upon his extensive experience and visionary approach to drive innovation in the financial industry through his leadership at Platonic. With a deep understanding of both traditional finance and emerging technologies, he is committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, ensuring that Platonic would be at the forefront of shaping the next generation of financial infrastructures.
